Who we are

Seventhscent is a small perfume trading house. We do not make the fragrances — we choose them, test them, give them names and pictures, and send them out. There is no chain behind this shop, only a packing table by a window.

What we do

Our work is the choosing. From the range of an Italian manufacturer we have put together one hundred fragrances that hold up next to each other: not ten variations on one idea, but a collection where someone can actually find something — citrus for summer, wood for the evening, an amber that is still there in the morning. Around that goes everything that turns a bottle into a product: the note descriptions, the photography, the scent finder that turns five questions into a recommendation. The formulations are not ours, and we say so plainly. The selection is.

Where the fragrances come from

They are composed and bottled in Italy by Chogan Group S.p.A. under the olfazeta name, to IFRA standards — the rules the perfume industry set itself for skin safety. Our numbering is the maker's, one to one: our No. 32 is their No. 32. We make no claims about how the maker runs its plant; we know them as a supplier, not from the inside. What we can vouch for is on every label.

How we got here

More than a year passed before the first fragrance was sold. A year spent choosing, describing and photographing a hundred scents, and settling legal texts, shipping routes and returns processes for each market separately — more hours went into cosmetics law than into top notes. It was less romantic than it sounds, but it is the reason every order now runs through without a query.

Where we are

Our fragrances sit on shelves in six countries today — we were selling there before every one of them had a shop of its own. Two are live now: Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Four more are following.

How an order runs

    Order

    You order in the shop. Price and delivery cost are shown in the basket and at checkout, before the order becomes binding. Confirmation reaches you by email straight away.

    Packing

    We pack by hand, usually the same or the next working day. No middleman handles your order, and nobody slips advertising into the box.

  3. 3

    Dispatch

    Sent from the EU with DHL, insured and tracked. You get the tracking number by email as soon as the parcel is on its way.

    If it is not right

    Unopened goods can go back within 14 days. Drop us a line first so we can match the return to your order, and you get your money back.
